Hey there!

In February of 2024, I was chosen as a semi-finalist in Sherri Shepherd’s, Funny Over 50!  It was an amazing experience and as much a shock to me as anyone else (I’m a trained actor)!  😀

When my spiritual growth became a priority and one of the things I stopped doing was cussing, making it almost impossible to be cast in complex, worldly roles, I had to start writing for myself.  In 2023, I told God I wanted to put more energy into standup comedy writing since that's something I can do on my own terms. Then in 2024, I was chosen as a semi-finalist in a national comedy contest that had hundreds of national submissions!  God definitely has a sense of humor!  In the future, I want to be a headliner, so I’m working hard to put my act together!

Because I was working during the day and couldn’t spend late nights in comedy clubs, I needed a live audience to test enough “funny stuff” (I think) to perform my own show of about an hour.  I planned to do 3 performances October 2024, but then Seth got sick, passed away, and I rescheduled for February of 2025. Since then, I haven’t felt much like working on comedy until I realized recently how much I needed the laughs.
