This site is about Lindisms:
comic musings of a complex world.
On this blog, I'll talk about the saying that I'm riffing on and its meaning.
Weekday Lindism
Today's Lindism is built from "Beggars can't be choosers" which is to say that if a person asks for something, the giver gets to decide what's given. It's not for the "beggar" to choose. In my twist, I cite a popular criteria we use to determine if we're going to give. "If a beggar looks like he's going to spend on drinking or drugging, I don't want to support that", we'll say.
Until next time...
Think on it!
